We start by fighting. Great change, or rather large simplifications since returned to the tour by relatively conventional tower, with a choice of banal commands. The boost is this always said of the game. The positive in there is that battles are now playable by all, while keeping a certain dynamism. The perverse effect is that greatly loses in strategy. And given the frequency of fighting, all tends to become redundant. Generally, it is still highly interesting! Allen, Canaan and Co. are playable, but as guests.
The graphic style is a mix of Xenosaga 1 and 2, and the least we can say is that it is very successful! The cinematics are always so beautiful, and the different phases of the game are divine. Nothing is left to chance, and Xenosaga is needed without too much difficulty as one of the best apps of the Playstation 2.
The music has also undergone a huge improvement from the second album. It's Yuki Kajiura who signs the entire OST this time around, and the lady offers us sumptuous tracks! Combat themes in particular are fantastic, forcefully choirs!
And the scenario in? Well, that is precisely the Achilles heel of the Xenosaga 3. If the first CD is a faultless, even to conclude with one of the most breathtaking twists of RPG, one can not draw the same finding of the second wafer. The events are agreed to, including the end of the adventure, which appears to be extremely ill-conceived and confused. Much of the questions do not find an answer, and some scenes are stifling silliness. Unfortunately, there is the legacy Xenosaga 2, that the drastic suppressions of parts of the scenario in the latter impact directly on the final installment.
The American version trimballe censorship, so be careful, some scenes lose their intensity ...
The life remains for its honest, though too short for the kind: always 25 / 30h.
For fans, there is the Perfect Guide, answering many questions about the frame. It can be found in English on the net! I highly recommend, as it simply reveals how the original synopsis is fantastic, if not more elaborate than that of Xenogears. Unfortunately, Namco has decided otherwise (at least, the financial ambitions of the firm ...). As a game, Xenosaga is a failure and makes absolutely no credit to the work of Takahashi and Saga.
A paradoxical soft: excellent on many points, but disappointing on the stomping ground of Xenos: the plot! The worshipers Xenogears Xenogears and Xenosaga Greatest Hits 1 Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht Reloaded [Japan Import] may be substantially grieve. Others find there a rare ...
