Hunger Games, Book 3: Rebellion (Paperback)

Customer Review

Suzanne Collins book us there epilogue of impeccable quality that oscillates between delicacy and hardness. Katniss is now in the hands of rebels preparing to take up arms against the capitol and abolish tyranny and terror regime in which he keeps the people for many generations. The symbol of the rebellion is only a shadow of itself; ravaged capture Peeta, traumatized by the destruction of District 12, she gradually lost her mind face all the events that are marked and one can only understand and sympathize.
Manipulated by the rebels as a mere instrument, see an ordinary trophy, Katniss is completely helpless and alone and she can not hold on in the belief that destroy Snow, the man behind all these horrors.
The revolt smoldering and Capitol not hesitate to massacre the population to keep control but nobody lets himself go. The games have recommenced, but this time the arena has no limits and covers all districts and the Capitol.
The author does not take gloves: the tone is set from the beginning; bitter, disgusted, Katniss knows that there is little hope and makes us understand.
The psychology of the characters is fully exploited and reflected their trauma. Even the minor characters are not put aside.
There is no way to joy but the atmosphere is sometimes lightened by humorous attempts to Finnick. Romance occupies only third place, the novel focuses exclusively on the action and psychology.
On aiileurs, many characters die and the atmosphere is very dark. One feels that the author wanted at all costs to keep a share of realism and the result is brilliant.
Peeta is virtually absent from this volume to my chagrin and we have just the opportunity to learn more about Gale, tie us to him.
And the end, my god, brutal, disturbing, and for once it's not what you might call a happy ending, far from it.
A novel that makes you think about human nature and our society.
You must read this series if not already done because you are sure not to come out unscathed from this reading so it will mark you by its hardness, disturb by its realism. A trilogy without defects.
