Having had an unwinding Leifheit earlier which I was fully satisfied, I bought this one on the strength of comments :-) Alas, like others I have big problems with the aluminum rollers. When the aluminum is thin like the one I bought (which I find actually!), It systematically tears, because the plastic rails under the roller, and it is almost impossible to break a 30 cm long sheet without tear even with tiny precautions. To the stretch film at the time of cutting, paper tends to come back inside (again due to the rails as the paper guide roller up, making it necessary to remove cover to make it stand so it's quite painful when you use it daily as I do, for a device that should be done "without worries." I put 3 stars for the look, but not for the comfort of use.
July 2, 2013: I want to say following recent remarks that respect scrupulously record has nothing to do with the case (at least with my copy). Stretch film aluminum top to bottom, scroll down and not up, nothing to do. I stand after 3 years of use: aluminum paper tears except to take an unusual thickness in supermarkets, as to stretch paper it's a nightmare, except again to stretch it to a snail's pace with infinite precaution, you can be assured of a systematic backtracking, forcing you to re-open the case. After 3 years, I'll take the AMSA model instead.
