Richard Marx was in my youth one of Hitmaschinen ever. But the big breakthrough came with his soulful ballads such as "Right Here Waiting". I am (which does not have to be called in an electric chain here) recently encountered by chance on the CD. And what can I say: The Fascination is back. Today - in a time of gangster rap and depressive NuMetal kids - even stronger than ever. Perfectly played, clever, catchy pop-rock, which causes the entire range of feelings, to the pop music is able: So of relaxation, contemplation about to spine-tingling feeling. The RM is an excellent singer / songwriter, I need not mention (he also wrote songs for, inter alia, Barbara Streisand, Kenny Loggins, Luther Vandross, NSYNC (yes, yes ... the kids again) and much more) comfortable. The irony is that this kind of music that I've liked in my youth (about 1987), now referred to in the US as "Adult Oriented Rock".
