Although Disturbed's debut "The Sickness" like a bomb in the New Metal world struck (with hits like Voices, Stupify, Down with the Sickness ...), the successor to "Believe" was then rather disappointing. Nevertheless, the CD in the US Billboard 200 chart immediately debuted at # 1 on => Vorschusslorbeeren the first CD. With "10,000 Fists" the band from Chicago presents her third and definitely the best and most mature album. The razor-sharp guitar riffs, the rhythm thunderstorm, the cool song by David Draiman are still there, but the songwriting has improved enormously. The band has so imbued with their first two CD's a very special, unprecedented style, which will be pursued and consistently manifested on this CD. In the first two CD's, I found the mad exactly played Drum - sequences almost a bit sterile and as from the computer. Now I no longer bothers you. This CD has such a power, because you can search for long until you such a riff with such cool grooving rhythms found. This CD is one of the best that the New Metal has ever produced. The bass / drum - machine, formed by Mike Wengren (drums) and "Fuzz" (Bass), comes with this CD definitely in history. The fabled "Just Stop" is a rhythm - the monsters special class. This ingenious, syncopated rhythms captivate you, the foot drum glowing and cleans your hearing. The first single "Guarded" rock till you drop. The constant pace and rhythm - alternating on drums are amazing and can not get rid of you. "Deify", the next hit, has a chorus in a class. The entry with the George Bush - speech is truly original. The 2nd single "Stricken" has over the first 4 songs used a slightly reduced pace and discreetly also keyboards. The guitar solo is probably the best on the entire CD. "I'm alive" is the only, rather weak song. And anyone who thought that's with Track 6 the air out, you are wrong. From then on, the CD is getting better. As to the older CD's is singer David Draiman repeatedly his famous Gorilla - screams specifically one that is probably already his trademark. Otherwise, the vocal line is class, this man can sing! * "Son of a plunder" is one of the best Disturbed - songs ever. * "Overburdened" is the first real ballad Disturbed, quite succeeded. * "Decadence" has definitely the best guitar riff of the entire CD. The song starts a little weak, but then the earth quakes, and after about 2 minutes, when the reef starts, you will be simply blown away. Fabulous! * The Genesis - Cover "Land of confiusen" is quite successful, the Song has indeed the original and a cool grooving, complicated rhythm of Phil Collins, predestined to be gecovert by Disturbed !! And even in the last 3 tracks, "Sacred Lie", "Pain Redefined" and "Avarice" give the guys after a millimeter. This is the perfect board for a slightly harder Party, as hit after hit on. After SOAD the CD is the surprise of the year for me. This increase in output after the last, rather weak CD I had the guys never have expected. A bad buy is simply impossible in this CD. Maybe this CD will help the final breakthrough in Europe.
