This first album of Aphex Twin is probably his most accessible and sometimes influential work. Dreamlike, intuitively beautiful melody rugs are the hallmark of this album. Whether relaxed (Xtal), encouragingly (Tha), cheerful (Pulse Width, etc.), mysterious (Hedphelym) or with jungle ambience (Delphium). Scenes and emotions on an album, as it could not be better for exploring alternative atmospheres. Even after 6 years since I started myself with artists of its kind to deal with, I put this album in an over again.
This delightful ambient masterpiece should be without any music lover.
