The great King is (almost) back!

From a theme very "kingien", akin to that of "The Mist," our dear Stephen us this time not far spawned a thousand pages that are also proving quite heavy to digest great. Heavy to digest, because King was not redone, and has always the tendency to over-detailing each of the situations he describes, to add more layers and layers - often unnecessary - Psychology by the week and good (or bad) feelings. And yet, beyond the almost physical fatigue can be felt to accompany so many characters - yes, you get lost - during their journey almost immobile, there again in "The Dome" from " almost genius ", who has illuminated the best King (say" That, "" Misery "or" The Green Mile "...). Because the accumulation of brutal gore scenes of violence but ultra-realistic here serves about probably more ambitious than usual with the author: "Under The Dome" speaks above all of the horrors of our world (Iraq and its torture, but also the abominations that are done to others every day of our lives), not forgetting also put in a room which clearly American dream - according to King - degenerated into an "every man for himself" disgusting . Best of all, the conclusion of the book, noteworthy because far from moralism Hollywood, seems to indicate that Mr. King has won over the years a kind of oriental wisdom. And it is beautiful.
