As a preamble, I would just say, read "Desolation" before "regulators". This second novel signed "richard bachman," is the mirror of "desolation" see a kind of clone. The characters have the same name and the story is no longer correct. Returning to "Desolation" which for me is a great King. Nevada on Highway 50, the few motorists are stopped by a very special cop, a true colossus that strangely the edges for futilitées. He locks them into prison "desolation" very strange mining town where there are no inhabitants. From there we fall into the horror. It compiles the great king of "Simmetière" of "Misery" and "Shining". A must read. By cons you can skip the "regulators". I still do not understand why Stephen King has written two books simultaneously. "Desolation" is awesome, "regulators" are friendly.
