I ordered this book because the summary I immediately brings to mind one of my favorite novels: Never Let Me Go, by Ishiguro. There are indeed similarities in the plot, which freezes the blood because it is treated very realistic, and very fair and sensible way. The identification with the main character works immediately. The novel is translated, very easy to read, very addictive. Writing has nothing to do with that of Ishiguro, which is extremely literary, poetic, precise. Here it's more of a mainstream novel but of excellent quality, with just pen and effective narration, although sometimes predictable. I regretted in particular that the novel is not longer and searched, I was missing something to put 5 stars. But I had a very good read and I recommend it.
