In 1897, Bram STOCKER, inspired by an old legend (Vlad Tepes), wrote "Dracula". Some years later, the vampire becomes a screen legend: "Nosferatu" by Murnau and the "Dracula" with Bela lugosi and finally Hammer with Christopher Lee in 1958 in the film by Terence Fisher: "Horror of Dracula "(Horror of Dracula) is a must. Follow "Dracula Prince of Darkness," "Dracula and women", "Blood of Dracula" or "The Satanic Rites of Dracula." For the record, not great and gory include "Blood for Dracula" directed in 1974 by Paul Morrissey or "Dracula made in 1979 by John Badham." The latest being that of Coppola. "Dracula" is a myth. Who today has ever heard of it? Before you watch the films, especially those of the "Hammer", read the book by Bram Stoker.
