Too Tough to Die (Audio CD)

Customer Review

So these are the supposedly hardest Ramones 80s. Hm, yes, true, a better production falls on me, which makes resound wiederr rough and loud in comparison with for example "Animal Boy" the guitars. Although there is no real mega-cracker is included on "Too Tough To Die". Slightly better managed maybe "I'm Not Afraid of Life" (good gloomy midtempo tune), the brief punk instrumental "Durango 95", the opening track "Mama's Boy" and the unusual 4-minute track "Daytime Dilemma" , The Rolling Stones cover song "Street Fighting Man" is also okay. Deserves a special mention but "Endless Vacation", a punk song, as he could not be funnier! Ultra-fast text, the rhythm is hard to keep, and everything is in the chorus then calm again before the next raging verse comes to snotty-sassy sung / screamed by bassist Dee Dee .... one of the few highlights.
But the hardest is a guaranteed here not commanded! Note only the first 4 albums in the 70s, who had really something. And for the otherwise known 80's-Weichspül sound the guys from New York who NEN hammer out all anhörlichen punk sound.
