Depending on the temperature difference could determine a measured value change of up to 14g. After 1 hour, ambient temperature, however, only 1-2g deviation can be detected. This is absolutely in the Tolerance of such balances and can be explained by the measurement mechanism. I have 3 pcs. Ordered (f. Restaurant, Catering u. Kochstudio) and was able to reproduce the same variations in all. That the scale is on firm, level surface to work properly for me not a disadvantage, but a prerequisite for scales with more accurate weighing mechanism. Conclusion: Super precise scale that displays even at 4kg still adding 1-2g. Important when (especially dry) spices! Only in frozen foods, or hot pots, and only if direct contact is made, the measurement result can sometimes be different, but only by a maximum (!) 14g. The attractive surface, particularly the Black Edition, the use does not remain naturally reflective, but is still nice. Fingerprints, etc. must not interfere with a commodity, I think. The only drawback when used in the Gastromie is the small contact area. For home perfectly adequate, but we also like to work in our company thus. Positives: even with unilateral load, for example, with larger pots, the measurement result remains stable.
