The hook is in the software

The camera would be very useful if it did not take at least 10 minutes automatically when triggered. Thus, the battery lasts only for about 24 shots. Thus, there is also no use if a 32 GB micro SD card is inserted. The battery is empty faster than the memory is full. If you want to monitor during prolonged absence, would have to power the camera through a power adapter. A software or firmware update with adjustable shorter recording time eg 1 min. when triggered by motion would help.
