The judgment of a longtime iOS user ..

As mentioned in the title, I'm from the Apple Universe not that I have never used anything else, but tablets, smartphones and MP3 players come with me always from the house of Apple. I liked (and still like) on iOS that it just works. iCloud, iTunes, the App Store optimized for all devices, which will be familiar to them certainly. Until now I have an iPhone 5 (and for a few months yet a 5s) used and was very pleased with this. iTunes, iCloud, camera and the aluminum unibody are my favorite features on the iPhone.

But enough of that. Why do I have so removed me from the simple, functional Apple World? Because it's boring. This simple reason enough for me. I know that Android nowhere near as stable as iOS running because many manufacturers such as Samsung flat "smack" their own UI over Android. The flagship of Samsung, Sony or HTC experience sometimes misfire. But on the other hand, Android opens up entirely new possibilities when about modification of talks (Widgets, Samsung: use with S-Pen, Multi Window, etc.).

I have 5 made the leap from iPhone to Xperia Z2 few months ago and was not at all so clear with Samsung, it should now work. In the following paragraphs I shall deal in detail with the details of the device.

PROCESSING & DESIGN
Surprisingly good! Who would have thought that Samsung in this millennium even jumps on the "aluminum-train" ?! The frame looks really neat, simple as it is with shiny edges and some "outstanding" corners that also support the grip. Well, the back is still made of polycarbonate in leather look, I prefer here but due to better grip and also for aesthetic reasons-the aluminum back of 5s I miss not one bit!

SIZE
Surprisingly pleasant! After only one day with the score of 4, I have already got used to. I use my smartphone rarely handed (and even then much is because of my great men hands still possible in Note 4), but mostly eh two hands. I can also confirm that it easily fits in the front pocket close men skinny jeans! About the compactness of the iPhone 5s I'm away, the small screen, I would like for it never again have to take into account.

DISPLAY
A stunner! The leap from a 720P display the iPhone 5 to Quad-HD at grade 4 is really monstrous! I personally symphatisiere with AMOLED technology, which uses Samsung. Of course, the colors are a bit stronger, but knows Samsung the definition of "true black", in the sunlight you can see something and the display is more than adequate light at half the brightness control. In this aspect, I welcome the leap from Apple's color natural display to Samsung's AMOLED anytime!

PERFORMANCE
There not much to say. I am sure that iOS devices will hardly surpass in performance can-most floor Andoid devices (Nexus 6, M8 One Google Play Edition) can keep up there. But due to its Snapdragon 805 and 3GB RAM runs on the score 4 all liquid. Animations run perfectly and programs start quickly. There are quite here and there a Miniruckler (eg in complex games), but that's really bitching at the highest level. Consider that the score of 4 at any time must come to terms with the bugs and lags of TouchWiz. Tip: Disable S-Voice to much quicker to exit apps on the home button.

TOUCHWIZ
Many complain about it and I can understand a lot of arguments. However, Samsung has considered a number of innovations for TouchWiz for 4.4.4 and now it's really user friendly lot! Just compare times the layout of Einstellungsapp in older versions and now at 4.4.4. However, the standard applications of Samsung as the music or photo app are still miserable and as long as no better versions are released, I recommend third-party apps from the Play Store as "shuttle" (Music) and "QuickPic" (pictures and videos). For a better keyboard I can without a doubt recommend "SwiftKey," there is in my opinion no better functioning and customizable keyboard for a smartphone.
These Third Party Apps are much tidier and user-friendly than the standard of Samsung Apps. But who knows, maybe can be since the future positive changes in the upgrade to Android 5.0 hear;)

CAMERA
As I said, iPhone cameras makes me happy. Simple app and grandiose results! Unfortunately, the camera app of grade 4 like not really me. When playing around in the settings, all happened quite slowly. Something tidier they could be! Maybe I need to change in this regard also to a third party camera app.
The results make me very satisfactory, however, both photos and videos! The trigger responds quickly and the results (front-and rear-view camera) can be seen. For some reason, the front camera is running but extremely ruckelig- there were my iPhone 5s or the Xperia Z2 much liquid! Hopefully Samsung can fix the problem via software update.

Battery Life
First cream! Evening with the quick charger within an hour loaded (without use of the device) and the next night was the score 4 still over 20% (Many games try, Whatsapp, Facebook, updates, music, emails, ..)! Here my iPhone 5s has transformed once you no opportunity- for "heavy users" in comparison, the battery is quickly than you can look. I hope to continue to bring me of the note 4 battery despite the thousands of features and tweaks that should tug pretty on the battery life as satisfactory by the day. Keep it up Samsung!

S-PEN, FINGER SCANNER, ..
I'm not (yet) absolutely no stylus users. I find that many features of note due to the huge displays also can be used with your fingers as well, but I can confirm that all functions of the S-Pen (Aktionsmemo, screen capture note, scrapbook, ..) properly function. Even if you can only use it via the display Rela- the device nevertheless recognize the position of the tip very well and work with it.
The finger scanner, however, I can not endorse. It is one of the first devices from Samsung with this feature, so Samsung is still a novice in this field. Apple, who sell TouchID since 2013 that can still much better! Compared to grade 4 is the iPhone each individually fingerscan - and no matter identified from which horizontal direction will, unfortunately, not at grade 4. As is known, one sweeps the grade 4 from the edge of the display down on the Home-button pity that it by no means always works! I disable that feature. But surely Samsung will develop over time an ordinary finger scanner.

SPEAKER
Minus point! Here one is of Apple (and especially HTC) used a lot better. Why there are still manufacturers that their mono speaker (Why has not any stereo ??) put on the back, which makes matters worse because you this often obscured in "landscape mode" by hand. Weak, Samsung!

PRICE
The course is steep with a suggested retail price of 769EUR, but Samsung's defense drop their prices constantly over time (bought mine for less than 650) and is not much higher than its competitors with this starting price. As for starting price and price case with Apple, which should really be ashamed of what! Something that has always annoyed at Apple. Of course they will this tactic (premium products for premium prices) continue to apply, but it is a pity anyway.

Final words, CONCLUSION
So what I think of this unit? I am totally satisfied that mentioned deficiencies prevent (at least me) not to the use of grade 4, as the positive aspects as just the battery life, the display, 32 GB internal and an SD card expandable memory (yes, as iPhone users would you look happy about this new storage!) and many more.

I use it every day and do not want to miss (Even if my smartphone is no longer so simple to communicate with my iPad) there. I recommend this phone (please do not "phablet") to anyone who sees his smart phone search with the above pros and cons to this review as completed.
If you can do without connectivity and Simplistik of iOS, so it was granted to you to leave the Apple world and discover the whole new world of Android on the Touch 4! In this case, you will not regret it.
