The last last ... "Tintin" completed

Released in 1976, Tintin And The Picaros is the last full album of Tintin, and the 23rd. Hergé will not have time to finish the Tintin And Alph-Art, marketed as a draft, for leukemia in 1983 before prevail. In fact, it 23rd volume, last completed (and therefore officially, the last real album), and the last which I will because I do not have album draft, has a weird taste. Curiously, this last book was the one with which I discovered Tintin, it was my first album in the series, which gave me when I was in 6 years. I still have it, period (as the others). The fact that this is my first album of Tintin has none so far is my favorite: I like it, it is nice enough, but not great. It is the level of Coke in Stock, basically. I always noticed, too, that the drawings had changed slightly for this album, but it is not necessarily obvious, except for looks. This very slight change does not please me only moderately!

This comprehensive volume offers a frankly successful scenario, in which we find pleasure Alcazar and San Theodoros, changed. We also find there Pablo, moderately important character of volume 6, and other characters appeared previously in The Broken Ear: the Ridgewell explorer and Arumbayas, with whom he lives in the jungle. And, as I said, Tapioca appears here for the first time, physically. We also find there the border Sponsz colonel, who participates in the dictatorship of Tapioca. Well, overall, what about Tintin And The Picaros? Well built, well designed, but not the best, it 23rd volume will delight fans of the reporter, who for the first time, no more golf pants door, but a brown jeans. Yes, even the heroes evolve!
