After the end of the Dead Boys Stiv Bator went early 80s the studio and recorded under the direction of Thom Wilson this grandiose work on. "Disconnected" contains gaudy, driving power-punk songs that intones the master admirably. The Dead Boys this album has little in common: The songs are polished, full of catchy hooks and clever melodies. You guessed where Mr. Bator wanted and when the things of his later band Lords of the New Church, sounds, falls a proximity to the material of "Disconnected" already on. These "Evil Boy", "Bad Luck Charm" and the strong cover of the old The Choir Hits "It's Cold Outside". All in all a beautiful album of a wrongly almost forgotten: Stiv Bator Rules !!!
