I have not been a huge fan of the duo, although I easily had one of their songs on the lips. However, I liked to re-hear occasionally the Avventura or Made in Normandy. But I had sympathy for the characters and humor Eric Charden, its always affectionate looks for Stone when they sang, even long after their separation. So when he left us, I was saddened. I bought this CD out of curiosity, after watching the video recordings. And I am excited about these re-orchestrations, even songs that I did not like necessarily the cause (such as "not playing" or "Gondolas in Venice," for example). It "hears" even Eric Charden smile at times. It changes the pace a bit, air, ... and it is very nice. Knowing that he was so ill when this CD was recorded helps especially appreciate the work and effort it took to let us provide this gift. The little comments in the booklet are moving. As for the latter capacity he demonstrates self-mockery and humor to demonstrate that they knew, that only the "big" to know and accept. Stone and Charden thank you for this last album.
