Anyway I'm back at Nokia and I am particularly pleased! Nokia has done a lot of work on this model stuffed with embedded technology, unheard of at the present time:
French -Compatibility 4G
-NFC
-Loading Wireless induction (yes Nokia did!)
-Stabilisation OPTICAL!
-Géolocalisation And usable navigation WITHOUT DATA
-materials Of the back cover of quality! (Which also explains the weight)
-Screen PureMotion HD + of exceptional quality
-Windows Phone 8 offering a fluidity beyond an iPhone!
Currently I know of no other model of smartphone with that level déquipement!
So you might say: yes but it is too heavy, yes, but there are only few applications ect ...
FYI, if you give me the choice between a mobile 110g of glossy plastic with a nut who scratches of that is placed on a table and another with more and 60g of exceptional quality and choice quickly!
And regarding the applications of the million apps available on the Apple store, how many are actually useful? And on the 50ene the 100ene or more you install, how you actually use regularly?
As always, Nokia, everything is native, meaning that they do their utmost to not needing to install additional applications to the essential, and that's a sérieu mindset.
Well done Nokia! I look forward to see what you book us for 2013.
Edit --- one year on: January 2014 (2 stars less)
Here now a year since I use windows phone 8 and the terminal, so I think having enough distance to bring a new judgment.
The hardware of the Nokia Lumia 920 is always good, I must say that aged well and despite a year of rather intensive use I had any hardware failure.
The battery when with it has not been changed since it pretty well like the same charge today, good all day, not too much loss of energy. I think today that the battery is no longer removable is not a problem at this level.
5 Stars so for the hardware.
For software that is where it goes bad. One year of experience windows phone and here I am very disappointed.
It is clear that the awning was not rich at all. Certe, the "great applications" android and iphone find a windows phone equivalent but in general the equivalent level and well below quality and ergonomics, see missing.
Side games is a disaster. Large publishers shun completely windows phone and we could hardly find any great license the Microsoft OS. Why the denial? Maybe because microsoft is closing too much on its platform xbox live for me is completely isolated from xbox live that we know on pc or 360.
What else for this app? Many beug and breach that still have not been corrected despite updated a year later. To name a few: Total no file explorer (this is reasonable for a windows mobile smartphone even proposed a 6.5 in?), Total or partial absence of distinction sound volumes (or so trivial and so too distinction poorly designed that I feel his absence) Total lack of function to disable the screen rotation (I just be wrong but I have not seen), many in the music beug navigation (music is launched , another lance example instead) beugs to Des unlocking the screen, beug of the connection to the PC, ...
So here, yes it's a good phone. But when I see the output for example Nokia 1520 I really wonder the interest of such a terminal will be affected by knowing that exactly the same system as my 920. Knowing that the 920 resolution is perfect, better would be invisible. The battery life more than correct, the perfect fluidity. So apart from the screen size and the weight, I really can not positioning this 1520 and even less its hardware since my snapdragon dual 1.5Ghz realizes all the possible and immaginable spots on WP8 while more can bring a snapdragon 800 on windows phone?
Personally, I think keep this lumia few times, then back on android. I am not convinced by the Microsoft OS but I wanted to give him a chance.
