In order to embody the Oracle when visitors in need come to her aid, she appealed to the corner of witches congregation to keep Chloe and Max.
But that's not counting the djinn Khalil (Volume 3 the embrace of the snake), which intrigued and attracted to Grace, imposes little by little in the life of the young mother ...
I honestly admit that at the beginning of the novel, I did not think too much to this story of a young oracle and a djinn attracted to one another!
BUT, the down-to-earth personality and ultimately endearing Grace made me change my mind.
It forms an original duet with Khalil and magical!
There is of the action (but less than in other volumes), a lot of feelings, intrigue, suspense ...
This is the most sentimental of 4 volumes in my opinion.
The story basically revolves around the couple Grace-Khalil.
I have personally liked more action. But that does not stop me from loved this book, like the rest of "the Chronicle of Veterans"
