The Percy Jackson series is underestimated ...

Percy Jackson - The Curse of the Cyclops builds nearly perfectly to its predecessor Percy Jackson - The Lightning Thief on and I can say that the movie is really fun. Greek mythology is well linked together and so carries the story of the still insecure son of the god Poseidon, who still has his problems to find their way in the secular realms, perfect. The computer animation can also be seen. Just a pity that some points in the film are / shown so serious dramatic as it would not really have been necessary. For example, the scene on the yacht, where the behavior of our adventurers almost borders on naive stupidity. In spite of all the acting performance of young actors is to Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson; Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth, Douglas Smith as Tyson, Leven Rambin as Clarisse and Brandon T. Jackson as Grover) quite considerably and you can see them at all how much fun this had during the shoot.

Conclusion: For fans of the Percy Jackson series highly recommended. I personally am looking forward to the next part and I hope that it does not again takes a good three years until it appears and the other fans finally noted that despite some parallels Percy Jackson Harry Potter is not just imitation.
