The perfect action spectacle!

After careful consideration I have this game now (finally) gained. At first I was not sure if I would deal with it. I'm not exactly the "shooter-fan" in the console since I player with the gamepad controls in shooters just do not come clear as an "old" PC.
With mouse + keyboard - no problem - but, for example, with such games as Halo & Co. I fail quasi right down the line ... What are works reasonably games where you at least some "sighting" gets like in Mass Effect or even GTA4 or so.
Since, unfortunately, Gears of War 3 Demo not I had hesitated so long according to I have now accessed but ... and what can I say .. this game is absolutely great !!
It was now already written much about (finally there is this game already a bit longer) and I do not cite old reviews as well, so I summarize times only my personal impressions together.

- Graphics / Sound -
The graphics are exactly as one would imagine on the XBOX, clearly you can always find even a fly in the ointment but the bottom line is the graphic and especially the all effects already a feast for the eyes. What bothers are a little stuttering in some places .. but I can live with.
The sound is consistently great! If it cracks everywhere and rattles, the enemy hordes rush roaring to one side and behind a smash the shells you really the "middle" feeling!
The voice acting I find amazing too .. ok, it is not always lip sync but who cares because something in a computer game ?? Here I find the sayings absolutely great, it's just a game for adults and just as is also spoken: dirty, with many curses and expletives! For this purpose but a good portion of "humor" of the always well integrated into the situation.

- Gameplay -
Probably the most important in a game like this. It's amazing! Control transfers consistently absolutely smoothly from the hand, whether to run for cover, for opponents to attack him in the sprint Nachkampf to dive to the side and I know .. it just works! Completely intuitively and without the need for any 8 keys for it! The above-mentioned "sighting" way, there is also what is really very welcome.
Simultaneously, the control can also kalibirieren very good: So you can, for example, the speed with which you look with a different value configured as the speed with which one moment during looks around aiming to - great!
The idea with the magazine change what I think is cool. By pressing the right moment when reloading the "reload button" so recharging is terminated immediately and you can continue to shoot, press "wrong" so it takes a lot longer .. I've been there several times in Horde mode stood and came to me the enemy hordes contrary flowed and I had to reload ... when you get a "jam" has just the escape remains but if all goes well and you can continue to fire directly, a smile you can not help sometimes really :-)
The gameplay is certainly so liquid and action-heavy as I have never seen it in any other game! It just makes hell of fun!

- Story / Multiplayer -
The story is basically not bad. Again, the flavors are of course different but for an action title one can already speak of a neat story. In any case, it is going well and is told very action-packed and thrilling. It has at least always a sort of "central theme" to which one can shimmy along. The atmosphere of the world as a hostile and dangerous place comes at any time over quite well and is conveyed quite well using the appropriate locales.
The boss fights are also awesome! What a deal because of giant beasts incredible. But the fights are also amazingly always "fair" and always designed for pure action.
What bothers a little is the fact that one moment during the story several times in danger of dying almost out of the blue. For example, since the flow of the game is interrupted briefly because somewhere emerges .. a giant monster because grabs the monster one lying around the vehicle wreck and throws it away ... at the moment is switched back to the players and virtually the last thing you're seen as a the vehicle wreck crushes .. you would have had about 0.8 seconds to react ... well .. the second attempt one is because yes smarter and differs halt immediately after the video sequence before anfliegendem vehicle wreck.
The multiplayer is definitely the centerpiece of Gears of War 3. You can co in countless settings, or play against each other in multiplayer. Starting with the complete story mode on the various deathmatch variations up to the genius Horde / Beast mode. Alone in multiplayer you can spend countless hours with diesesm game and it is not just boring!
What, however, such as the Horde mode is something that bothers me that no player can meet in an already running game ... unfortunately it is often the case that after the first 7-9 waves fellow left a game (for whatever reason) and you then stands threesome quickly and virtually no chance since but has .. availability not remains to be replenished only the game to end and again to startn new (with new colleagues have hopefully more time ..)
Here would be an "After-join function" been really great!

- Conclusion -
The game there are now consistently for less than 30, - Euro and it can, in my opinion really did not do anything wrong. Who likes to play shooters and stands on an action-heavy gameplay with lots of blood and noise, giant monsters and massive hordes of enemies, which is the right place for Gears of War 3!
The minimal factors that disturb me about this game yet justify a star deduction and therefore there is a perfect score!
