After reading so few reviews I've bought the above monitor. My old monitor has a resolution of 1680x1050 and I wanted to go a bit bigger and can enjoy a resolution of 1920x108ß0. System and graphics card come as easily with (AMD FX-8350 u. EVGA GTX570 2.5GB). So ordered and after delivery connected = WOW High-quality image, clear Only little too bright for my taste. But that's what the supplied remote control for individual adjustment. My personal settings I found the following: Contrast 30 Brightness -30 Panel 50 Kelvin 6000 Mode User 1 Was very satisfied until yes until I perceived lesions on the face and hands after a few days. I must start by saying that I am extremely sensitive to UV light and therefore react accordingly to radiation. Now, in the technical data is not from UV radiation in LEDs. So without further ado the support of Eizo contacted. The German Support it did not know my request but headed to the headquarters in Japan further. There they made because of my request aside a UV test, since this date. In the TCO requirements for techn Devices is not required. Unfortunately the result was negative for me. This means that the monitor is UV rays (approximately 5Wm² at 460nm) and also 2 4W in higher areas. Thus I was forced reluctantly to return the monitor and am now looking for a UV radiation outdoors Monitor.
Conclusion: The monitor is top notch and delivers what is promised / tested. Anyone who can withstand UV radiation, and that anyone who is healthy and can withstand sunshine can use this monitor without hesitation. And iS Support Eizo is as top class.
Other companies, which I have contacted previously react either not (Acer 2 weeks / intermediate message but yesterday) or share with succinctly that UV TCO must not be tested (eg Samsung / BenQ). And a supporter wrote simply that I should use a UV protection. Which one? Creme `s face or what?
