Eye Dance (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The end of Boney M. was actually after the album "Boonoonoonoos" instead, because as dancers left the troupe Bobbie Farrell, who was the visual trademark. Although it was then in 1984, the album "10.000 Lightyears" still good, but already contained no more single hits and also left on the charts not impress more. Perhaps Farian should leave it at that, but for some reason still "Eye Dance" was then but produced an album that barely a Boney M. fan really like and have all just for completeness integrated into the collection. It starts with the cover on, the old logo is missing and it is to see a design that is reminiscent of cheap productions for drugstores. Liz and Marcia have hardly lead vocals, despite the fact that their voices have influenced the sound of Boney M. and the songs sound kind of boring. Well, there are a few very nice songs that are danceable, like "Young, Free And Single" or "Todos Buenos", also "Sample City" Like me personally, but the big litter was "Eye Dance" simply no longer. Curiously, diving on the "Graduation LP" 10 Years With Boney M. (a medley of 36 songs) just made this record a few songs, while there still really good album "Boonoonoonoos" was entirely disregarded. Who wants to hear Boney M., this CD does not really need, because it makes more sense to buy the first 5 LPs as CD (there are in an inexpensive box from the original series) and possibly even "10,000" Lightyears "to do so.
