After finally I can call a new record player my own again, I was looking forward even more to the new U2 album. However, I was more than disappointed. It is not a bad album. Musically a perfect abgemischtes something. It has Pink Floyd chalked they had published with The Division Bell a trivial album. U2 raises this statement on now. For the diehard fan this record belongs on the shelf and will likely heard by a maximum of three times. The first time because one is looking forward to the new album. The second time, because you think the album is too complex and you have to listen again and then the third and last time to determine that it is simply the swan song of a great band.
