The trade-off between speed and puncture protection !!!

Approximately 5000km in two years asphalt (80% and gravel paths (20%) down with it. Only after 5000km first flat tire, and I've come home safely and only the next day noticed the small thorn on the side edge.
Rear tire wears out more quickly (normal weight and permitting).
In comparison with Schwalbe Marathon Plus and Schwalbe Marathon Cross higher speeds are easier to achieve.

I would definitely recommend the mature anyone who wants to quickly be on the road, but at the same time do not want to give up a good tire puncture protection.

My new tires I have already ordered and these are the Maxxis Overdrive Excel, are racer in the same price category as the marathon. I would definitely buy the marathon racer again, only I want to try out something new and in a few years I know which of the two proved better.

PS 18/07/2014 Unfortunately nothing is the comparison that were Maxxis excel with long delivery times verbunden.Da RECOURSE me no other choice than to re-order the Marathon Racer;))
