Semi-epistolary novel which portrays both the young noble Charlotte taken in the heat of the revolution and the young Emilia, who, a century later discovered one way that one correspondence with her sister fled to England. The style is classic that it is possible to Letre, and Countess de Segur would undoubtedly his blank check to this novel. Like other books in the publisher Mame, who took information turns out to be a Catholic editor frankly, the story largely puts the Christian faith highlight, which turns out to somewhat disconcerting departure for atheists readers as we are. Unfortunately, unlike the aforementioned louvrage who could read with interest despite references to faith, it turned out too indigestible, and we gave up finish before a frankly excessive proselytizing.
