I have my "old" gtx760 / 4GB replaced by this card. I value a gaming suitable system that does not unnecessarily power "burns" - I have to pay my electricity itself :-)
FACT: There are currently no effective card in the market. POINT
TDP = 120Watt GTX960 / GTX760 TDP = 180Watt the 960 is even a tad faster.
The halved memory bus compared to the 760 is not a "brake" because,
Maxwell chips work very recourcenschonend over Kepler.
It ALLLE run current games in FullHD at high to maximum settings (without 16xAA / SS etc.).
Anti-aliasing lovers but only with a 970/980 really happy,
but also something more consuming (145bzw165Watt)
2GB Memory rich in FullHD "in my opinion" (yes, I also have 4GB) from perfect.
But from 4K resolution, it may then be 4GB of video memory.
The fans of this card also run at no-load (800rpm), some 960s models from other manufacturers turn this / s completely.
Both fans can be no tools required for maintenance / cleaning to remove, and are neither idle nor under load to be described as loud. (My 1year old hard drive is by far the biggest noisemaker in my PC)
My card has no Spulenfiepen or other moods could I complain.
I run my system now with a 350Watt power supply with a maximum power of 280Watt
and that is more than neat (Core i7 / Intel board / 16GB RAM / 2 drives)
+ ONLY 1x6Pin current (! Varies but on the manufacturer and version!)
- Relatively clunky, occupied the back 2.5 Slotbleche, well then I have yet brought the card in my cube.
Let The Games Begin ....
