My expectations on "World On Fire" were very high. Even "Apocalyptic Love" has set the bar very high and led me to one of my favorite singers: Myles Kennedy. Kennedy convinced me completely with Alter Bridge, so I was hoping that he makes it available for Slash same again. The result is incredibly good. "World On Fire" is even better than its predecessor in my eyes. Even the eponymous single made me curious, but can be found on this album songs that are as good at least: "Automatic Overdrive", "Wicked Stone" (!!!), "30 Years To Life", "Bent To Fly, "Beneath The Savage Sun" (!!!), "Battleground", "Avalon", "The Dissident" and "The Unholy". The density of brilliant songs is incredibly high !!! I think it's great that you're not forced is, Deluxe Editions to buy, because there is only one edition with 17 songs, so no bonus tracks. Also sound technically the album is on a very high level. I like the combination of Slash and Myles Kennedy! I hope that many more albums to come.
