Far from being my favorite of King, and I must say I prefer the ample John Carpenter movie adaptation (although, and this is where it gets stuck, the film is not as good as the book, in a sense! ). I've never been a fan of cars and this car story haunted and cursed quite original and enjoying good characters (it attaches to Dennis, Leigh, and also and especially Arnie, which symbolizes the pimply teenagers and suffers -douleurs we all met, and that was perhaps once), not me halfway. Well written, full of suspense, but I have not hooked thoroughly. The film pleases me more, because I prefer to see a jalopy zeroing in on a guy reading a jalopy bearing down on a guy, ah ah ah!
