And fortunately is "Forth" has not become "Urban Hyms" offshoot.
The album sounds fresh.
I would rather describe the musical style as a mix of the three previous albums. The lyrics are more mature than in "Storm in Heaven", the songs do not all as smoothly as on "Urban Hyms" and play the guitar often reminds songs like "Life's an Ocean"
from "A Northern Soul".
It's really hard to describe what it feels like the album.
I would not say that it is only a further "Ashcroft" solo album (which I did not like as opposed all).
I hear the music usually through headphones where you can experience the sound spectrum only really.
I feel "Forth" as better than "Urban Hyms" because it musikalsich towards meeting the older works of the band and not as "trendy" is
Wonderful pieces like "Appalachian Springs", "I see houses", "Valium Skies" & "Numbness" staggered in a trance, with "Sit and Wonder" and the terrific "Noise Epic" a just carried away with their violent sounds.
"Forth" is a successful comeback and hoffenlich not the last work of The Verve.
