This album shows, firstly, that it still have the Stones on it and still produce successful albums, even after more than thirty years in the music business, on the other hand it is clear that the Stones and their music are still popular. The success of "Bridges to Babylon" is obvious. I myself was surprised by the class of this CD and also the fact that for "Voodoo Lounge" something will come back from the Stones to the market. Are they not older? If you listen to this CD on, you do not have the impression. The Stones appear on this CD at their best, even if not every title is a hit. With "Flip The Switch" put the Stones going on with the same pace. Already the next piece, the soft hit "Anybody Seen My Baby", the versatility of this varied album reveals. Extremely successful I find the pieces in which Keith Richards sets the tone (eg, "You Do not Have To Mean It"). Slow music alternate with typical, faster rock songs, in between again the smoky voice of Keith Richards. Overall, it's a really good Stones album, although it can not compete with milestones like "Exile On Main Street", but has long been one of the best is.
