Thrill !! Only What a great :-)

First of all: It's my first "Silent Hill" - adventure!
What I noticed first was the technical implementation ... of console games that have been converted for the PC, a blurry, pixelated graphics one is accustomed to ... but at SH2 they gave themselves real trouble! The environment is full of great details ... the lighting effects are just fantastic ... the soundtrack and soundscape are awesome ... now to the story:
We know at the beginning only of the letter ... and that maybe Mary is still alive. Man on in the city ... but must run because the access is blocked. At the beginning everything seems normal ... even the horror in SH2 builds up very slowly. Throughout the game you will encounter some pretty Broken Protaginisten, each of which carried a dark secret in his past to Silent Hill ...
Here the story and the psyche of the people is paramount, which is why the fights are only accessories. Opponents can easily be overcome (the chainsaw! Whoopeee !!) or you can go out of their way to them simply.
The right Thrill ensteht by the absolutely trustworthy environment: In Silent Hill, there are bars, a restaurant and fast Foof even a bowling center ... the homes and buildings are very reailstisch furnished ... the entire city could really exist so! Especially the many details are remarkable. Is accompanied by all the cool sound: creaking, footsteps, rumble ... all this makes for sheer nerve!
Unfortunately, there's also a few points of criticism:
The interior of the building resembles too much ... ok that's because all fall and rusty ... but it seems a bit monotonous in the long run. The puzzles sometimes seem a bit pointless and illogical ... and are mostly to be solved by simple experimentation. In addition, most of the tasks consist of finding a key ... which one to sometimes fairly long distance has to run, sometimes annoying also. The story is told very spanned, but the resolution is still quite surprising looks a bit plump staged.
SH2 is a fantastic horror-adventure that has some weaknesses ... but too bad that also sound in my description: Sometime it bothers a no longer! You have to continue playing to finally reveal all Gehimnisse! Recommended!
