To take my mind for the time being this soundtrack in a few words: again terrific. As with the first soundtrack manages Hans Zimmer to transmit and reproduce, they even produce mainly only the mood of the film perfectly. In the film, music and draining action complement each other perfectly. This gives the audience coming back for scenes in which the respective track is played in the background in mind. The tracks are epic and so sweeping that they allow the listener mitwippen instinctively. Cleverly varies Composer Zimmer the pace and leaves between the rapid successions sound even in a quiet, menacing sounds, before being re-packed by rapid cycles.
The tracks build dramatic and exciting with slow gentle but rafiniert lilting tones on, let every now and then by flash small accelerations before it explosively culminate in their monumental final sound.
An up-enhancing procedure room that repeatedly leads at my goosebumps and joy of score.
Special emphasis has rooms this time, set matching film character Madame Simza Heron and her family, the gypsy elements. But also classical pieces by Mozart and Schubert, as well as elements from the soundtrack to the first part to be honored by imaginative, reinterpreted variations. Me personally I was pleased in the film during the credits again the slightly modified "Sherlock Holmes" theme also known as Track 1 "discombobulate" from the score for the first part in the form of track 17 "The End?" to hear. This unmistakable melody will be associate also in a few years even with the new "Sherlock Holmes" variant. In addition to this theme, I like the massive Track 3 "Tick Tock - Shadows Part 2", which with the short introduction Track 1 "I See Everything" and the equally impressive parts Track 2 "That Is My Curse - Shadows Part 1" and Track 4 "Chess - Shadows Part 3" the so-called "Shadows" trilogy constitutes, at best.
I also have the following tips: Track 10 "To The Opera!" Track 12 "Die Forelle" Track 13 "Too many foxes for you Hansel," Track 14 "The Red Book" and particularly exceptional, but ingenious: Track 18 "Romani Holiday (Antonius Remix)". I am aware that I have now mentioned almost all the tracks as a recommendation, but this reflects the more my enthusiasm over the soundtrack, again. Finally, I have for true fans, a note: Track 19-21 "Shush Club No.3", "Beatiful Eyes", "Just Follow My Lead" you can download as bonus tracks for free, more information is obtained on the CD- packaging. All three items are highly recommended and in some cases also be heard during scenes in the film. In addition, the CD case contains information about interesting videos on the Internet that deal with the making of the score.
Conclusion: A true precision landing of the best film music composer in Hollywood who could even outdo his work for the first "Sherlock Holmes" -Blockbuster and viewing pleasure accompanied again musically perfect thanks to epic tracks. My Current Favorite score.
