I will start on time. But where should I start? When appearance? When haptics? Top up from the front
When unpacking I already can say that the manufacturers know that they have produced a really great piece of technology here. Because the notebook was delivered in a small box in which the actual notebook was wrapped in a kind of fleece blanket. Included was also a micro fiber cloth to clean the screen. Of course, besides the notebook AC adapter is also included. This was again divided into two cables (how the notebook so often knows). Why the manufacturers still continued adherence to these 'shared' power supplies I do not know. But that should not bother at this point.
The design is beautiful simple, does not require a lot of bells and whistles, and wins by the 'flatness', which is not exactly so common in a 15' laptop.
When it comes to entering the notebook comes with a good chiclet keyboard, which has a pleasant pressure point. I must still get used to it (at this moment !!) because I have not had chiclet keyboard, but after some time the touch already doing very well and slight of hand.
The display offers vivid colors, but in my opinion, has one drawback: In the sun the display without end and at low brightness setting reflects falling working with it a little hard. Since I will however use the notebook anyway mostly in the office or at the kitchen table (or on the couch, because I am also from time to time couch potato), this disadvantage is limited.
Yes what else? The Acer Aspire comes with a i5 core processor, therefore, that keeps its promises. Programs are carried out quickly and smoothly. 4GB SDRAM are permanently installed, but can be increased up to 6 GB.
Now I come to a small highlight in my eyes. In addition to the 500GB hard drive even 20 GB are installed in the form of an SSD cache. Thus, fast data access and short startup times when booting are inevitable. Of course I tested directly. When you start the notebook I could directly enter my password and start working after about 20 seconds. Clear first had lots of updates are installed, but then it's pretty fast.
Otherwise, there is a 1.3 MP Webcam, integrated microphone and various nozzles. Connections? Some also USB 3.0? Klaaaar. In addition to two USB 2.0 ports there is also a USB 3.0 port. A HDMI connection is available, so that an external monitor can be connected or the TV acts as imager. All these ports are located on the back of the notebook. Do you have to get used to it.
Photographers among you get of course also supplied with an SD card slot.
What I have not even mentioned the multigesture touchpad with the zoom, or various multi gestures are possible.
But the feature has interested me most was the enormous battery life. Were promised so up to 8 hours of stamina. I came install updates and graphics to test on about 5 hours yesterday. I find still all right. After all, the notebook has been working at full capacity. In Office Mode, it brings the notebook but then to just under 7 hours Half screen brightness, wireless on, music via Spotify 'Run!
Final Conclusion? Class notebook, absolutely suitable for occasional games, blogger friendly as much battery life on the go, super sound quality of the built-in Dolby Digital speaker! Only the display is a small loser. But since I can cut back. After convinced by the notebook power and handling!
