Customer Review

Just a little history if you do not mind ... Tintin newspaper readers will have waited eight years after Flight 714 to read Tintin and Picaros, which began publication in 1976. Hergé put into effect some time before find a story and worked only occasionally, only for fun. For the anecdote, he inspired some of the case Regis Debray and Tupamaros. But these events have only served as the framework for the creation of adventure.

In this adventure, we find the San Theodoros (The Broken Ear) imaginary country where the two rival generals are a continual war for power. We find the Alcazar general, exporateur Ridgewell (The Broken Ear) Lampion which of course is the president of Happy Turlurons and Colonel Sponsz (The Affair) became Esponja and was sent by Borduria to support the general Tapioca. We also discover Peggy, the wife of Alcazar and the second woman in the Adventures of Tintin with Milanese Nightingale. Finally, we see for the first time Tapioca, we knew before by name. The first surprise in reading the first pages of this album, it is of course the disappearance of Tintin knickers, replaced by jeans. In addition, it rolls moped and does yoga.

In this story, the characters do not run to the adventure. For example, Haddock Tintin will not follow in his trip to Tapiocapolis, it will join only a few days later. The only goal of Tintin is here to free his friends condemned rather than overthrow Tapioca. Tintin knows that this mini-revolution in which the people do not participate, do not change much. Tapioca is supported by Borduria (The Affair) Alcazar by the International Banana Compagny. The interests of the change only benefit powerful organizations. The slums are still there, whether or Tapiocapolis Alcazarpolis. The changes affect only the world of the show, that's why Hergé also chosen as the action takes place during Carnival. The Castafiore knows that all this is only the case show: your irrefutable documents! I laugh, I, those documents ...

At the end of this adventure, we realize that our heroes will stand back. Haddock said: "I shall not be sorry to find myself here, in Moulinsart. "Tintin and replied" Me too, captain. " We feel that the fabric of The Young See polyglot nearing completion. "Tintin is not fighting for the happiness of all men, but each time the chances of his adventures have been in the presence of a man victim of poverty, injustice, violence, that's that man that Tintin bias. "Hergé
