I bought this album to my mother, who is absolutely a fan of Mireille. As a comment, I would just say that it is useless to compare them interpreters. I find Mireille Mathieu is not new news that neither the Piaf-that is-but is a singer with incredible vocal power. I prefer her voice to that of Piaf but I do not compare. I leave to everyone's tastes and preferences. My mother loves this album.
