In the LP "On the brooding" bothers me now but good stuff. In advance many questionable promotional activities were carried out - an indie artist in Major machinery, I thought to myself forever. The box, all white, and visually not as nice as expected, also includes a folding instruction, a very nice textbook and - something superfluous for fans - the nothing-live double EP.
That album also contains "nothing" and "alarm clock", I do not quite fit - out of this brilliant EP two songs just as an album filler out of context to tear was not a good idea. On them you realize the shortcomings of the other songs.
It starts with the shattering of brooding head of the well gets broken just because of Reims, such as a flower pot falling from the balcony. But okay, ugly is the "Is" - the idea "is already yesterday morning" is not new and Balbina considerations seem quite bumpy and unsorted. "Goldfish" is especially musically a highlight, just why is just the goldfish chosen as a symbol of forgetfulness? "Hats off" is then again a dialog with a hip-hopper, similar to "2 losers" on the first Bina album, just not so funny and with some lines of text that I find simply ugly ("You say that only because you mean are and hates me "," You're good - hats off - in badness "...). "Table" is as between successful hip-hop collaboration, Maeckes has already "soap" made on a number of EP cooler.
Up to this point probably a 3-star album, right? But in the end it will be fantastic again: "Cuckoo" and "slowly slowly" are musically and lyrically top full of good ideas (but why the long-known "alarm clock" jostles between?). "Bad air" is then cranky enough to save the fourth Stern final.
Yes, I like Balbina very happy and I hope that they can work in the future without working pressure. Maybe they should switch to a smaller label to but. I think rules and deadlines propel this interesting artist to very brooding.
