Hardware:
Here scores the Huawei MediaPad in all respects. Clear first it's great that there is but after a few days and everything else suddenly seems small. The build quality is on the highest level of all, everything fits perfectly and the material is well chosen. The display is of course a big hit, as the sun rises when it emits a counter. Very natural colors and a satisfactory brightness make it a feast for the eyes. The battery is flat case very well, two days are so easy to survive, even if it after 6 - 8 hours can get empty, so this is not common practice.
Small drawback, I had a few hours of dirt on the edge of the display, at which I no longer came up (black version)
Software:
The first one was of course the update to 4.4.2, so it is up to date. It would be nice of course a guide that tells you that you put just the "Update.app" directly into the folder "dload" and then updated manually. Well, feasible and then running quickly.
Now you have a relatively current version of Android on the X1, but that does not necessarily mean running all. Constantly jerky something in scrolling through the contacts, or when scrolling in Chrome browser. Regardless, it constantly increased somewhere. When opening the gallery, you first have to wait until the images are all built. Even the camera swallowed a few Frams so that people move about suddenly faster.
Is that all Android has to offer today? I mean my iPhone has a 1.3 GHz dual-core and runs absolutely smoothly, the X1 has a 1.6 GHz quad-core and not getting propped the Android Kitkat? My old Motorola Pro 1GHz Singelcore runs just as "liquid" with 2.2.2
Conclusion:
Here's a great phone / tablet with real qualities in the hardware of the software is totally messed up ...

Unfortunately, I have now even a star pull, so it remains only one star.
After a few days now crept in the first error.
1. The battery does not charge more to 100%. It is usually at about 80% circuit, you have to disconnect the cables and let reload, now 100% are possible. Charging cable original course.
2. No Push messages possible. No matter what you do, there is no push, no Gmail still in Whatsapp. At the settings it is not.
3. Many Apps for daily use are simply botch well as the Mediapad can not help it, but it's also easy ägerlich.
4. GPS is useless, so the positioning by GSM, it is still usable, but without this support it is like even a few kilometers next to its own position. Navigating is hard möglci.
5. Constantly h # depends on something, sometimes the SD card is no longer available, sometimes simple is the screen black.
I really do with the part no longer, therefore something else than this part ... Buy
