The IDE-178BT has come top and I agree with the other reviews on here. BUT: The Alpine creates too much noise from the speakers. I run the Alpine at the moment with the internal amplifiers (not fancy fixtures in the winter) and the noise in each source (USB, AUX, Radio, matter) very clear and unpleasant from the LS. The best way it can hear at a low volume and even if the volume to "0" is rushing it. And no, connected all standard, engine and it's certainly my 30 installation. From various forums I have now learned (ie the sound processors) that it is probably due to the internal signal processing circuit or the DSP. An indication delivers the following way to reduce this noise. If you park the confirmation beep of the key press in the menu, the noise is reduced by approximately half, or rather the high tones of the noise diminish. Qualitatively, one can compare the noise with it, as if one "previously" taken out at the tape deck, the "Dolby C squelch" or had switched. The noise is quite audible (depending on the car), but when you hear a loud imperceptible while driving with soft music. Nevertheless, as has a noise ultimately have an impact on the sound of the Head Unit, as it is always also amplified and the music signal influences. The Alpine could therefore still sound much better if the developers have worked better here, but maybe that's not otherwise possible or wanted at the price. I have it in any case, the absence of alternatives, keep (mostly hear loud :)) because it still sounds very good and having other radio already these settings (Parametric EQ, time alignment, active crossover), if you then expanding the system fully active.
