Torn glasses

The spectacle is good in itself, the bracket very nice (both with spring hinges). However, with the first delivery 1 glass was torn at fastening point of the nosepiece and the replacement both glasses. I suspect that the Amazon package (an A4 cardboard envelope) exerts too much pressure on the unprotected glasses. The spectacle is threaded only on a cardboard and stuck in a zipper bag. They can squeeze what then some states force on the nose bridge.
Well, I'm going to screw the bracket to other glasses ...

I have the strap unscrewed times now. The tearing of the holes is probably attributable not solely intended for packaging.
As a design flaw lies in the combination of nose bridge and the pad-holders.
This consists of the actual nose bridge (of the glasses holds together and bolted from the outside against the glasses), and in each case a metal bracket that holds the nose pad (screwed each of the glass inner surface against the Nadenbügel). In order to prevent twisting of the whole slots in glass sawed, into which metal pins on the nose bridge and the pad holder. Unfortunately, both have the same distance from the screw so that both pin collide on Elber height. With thick glasses that might work, but the +1 glasses are too thin, so that when the screws are tightened the pins slide past each other and put the plastic "glass" under pressure.
