Positive for me was once again the entire universe. The audio-visual presentation is simply bombastic. The colors and scenes are super staged, although me personally a couple of glare are too dished out (as always) and the 5.1 sound, my living room can be more than once quake.
In weapons repertoire is well-tried and new, here you can not have much to say, it is offered enough. Similarly, there is also a good mix of Fighting, Boss opponents and Puzzling, even if the latter were partially not intuitive enough for me. Most, however, was quite feasible with a little thought.
The Save points were up to a maximum of 1-2 places always very well distributed, so that the value is not too high frustration rises. Something too radical to me was a big fight in 3 stages near the end (not the Endfight!). Those who do not have perfect upgrades here and tidy dexterity proves who is here really sucks sometime ... pardon the choice of words. It is after several attempts and bissl luck then also feasible, but too violent for my feeling. My swage relate to the normal difficulty, therefore I do not know how it is in other stages.
Conclusion:
------
Positive:
----------
- Sound and look incredibly good
- Boss Fights are unbeaten to my mind, there is simply no Ran game
- Good mix of action and Puzzling
Neutral:
----------
- Weapons repertoire actually unnecessarily large. Many options that you simply never need / use
Negatives:
----------
- Puzzling partially not intuitive enough for my taste
- Brachial heavy battle just before the end of
- Story has waned for me compared to GoW 1-3
For me, a clear buy recommendation for newcomers and veterans GoW.
I think GoW has now also just a bit lost any of its franchise feeling. I personally am not a fan of "pre-stories". All in all, I find yet the game deserves solid 4 stars, because the negative aspects are not overweight. Point 1 + 2 are only very partially and point 3 is for me subjective feeling.
