Madonna's album "Erotica" is probably one of the most underrated musical works of all time. The album is full of creativity, ideas and dedication. I'm not a Madonna fan, but this album is one of my favorites. Why this album in otherwise die-hard Madonna fans not so well received / arrives, is perhaps exactly what I like so. There is no American Kommerzpop but truly innovative music. Madonna tried everything from: From Hip Hop to Trance Lounge on. If you expect any clumsy allusions to sex a la Rihanna (and other US-chicks), is really wrong. The album deals with the themes eroticism, emotions, separation, death, mourning ... It's really challenging. Among the songs I can only say that each has its own momentum. "Erotica" is a S / M anthem with an Arabic prayer singing (yes, really!), "Rain" one of the most beautiful pop ballads I've ever heard, "Bye, Bye Baby" a humorous New Jack Swing Song, "Deeper and Deeper" a Latin pop-disco number, "Words" an emotional song with arabesque elements, "Waiting" magnificent "porn groove" number ... Oh, it Just listen to, there is no song on the plate, which I did not like. Too bad that Madonna has gone safely to this album on number and has made danceable, classic pop. I think that this work has shown that it no something supremacy when it comes to pop.
