How Do You Dance? (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Founded in 1978, since then dubbed as Belgien's response to power plant, although they were more New Wave-oriented (their biggest hit "Moskow Diskow" is the 100% pop RipOff of "Trans-Europe Express") and with a remix emerged from Depeche Mode's "A Pain That I'm Used To" back out of the woodwork, telex latch on to past days and that seamless. From development here is not so much to feel what one could suspect the remix of Depeche Mode and already gets confirmed here. Telex also counting on the "models" of the likes of Carl Craig or Daft Punk, one can mention here reassured that has not done much in recent years. OK, you have the Vocoder to pitched voices exchanged (love CHER fans). Praiseworthy are merely using the Analog synths and -Sounds and the sound of the album. Included are the usual downtempo cover versions of some uptempo rock-pop-blues hits, what we have got to listen to over the years in a similar form and much better by artists such as Senor Coconut (power plant in Latin) or Moog Orchestra. The own new titles coming at the very first hearing unimaginative therefore (since you should rather again by listening to the old albums or search for original remixes from Moskow Diskow) and the album it sounds after "Come, let's make one again, just like that, in 2 days and hauen's out, as long as people still indulge in the '80s nostalgia. " Curious can at most be on remixes, which will hopefully not come from people like Westbam or other Kommerztrance- "artists". Despite all the criticism to mention is that the title "J'aime la vie" particularly stands out. And: This album is a treat for hardcore fans telex, for "demanding" Electronic-Music listeners an inferior pleasure and a young audience does not understand the fact. For the latter there are then TIGA.
