Dissatisfied with Saeco RI9752 / 01 Espresso Machine Odea Automatic Grey / Silver, bought at the price of 202 euros. Saeco has now become Philips manufactures machines that electronically unstable (despite having made careful to close all covers etc ..., as recommended by the manufacturer). After a coffee machine 20en shown the red light resistance and never went out coffee. In the leaflet, there is no indication of this type of display, since he mentions that this indicator blinks which would require scaling. After searching the net for, I could conduct self tests on the machine that finally showed me a true unrepairable failure. So I returned to Amazon without charge. Amazon thank you !! I bought another machine on Amazon: SOLO Caffeo Melitta E 950-103 Automatic Espresso machine 1400W 15 bars - Silver / Black. WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!! It has cost me a little more expensive (80 euros more). Just the weight of the machine already shows the components of best quality ... The price of the Saeco seemed attractive, but the machine does not come with the water filter so that is an extra cost from Saeco while in Melitta it comes with !! Another significant difference is grain coffee consumption: at Saeco, there is only one possible amount no matter the amount of water that is added and it is a significant amount, it was very tasty beans. At Melitta you can choose between 3 positions (7g, 10g and 12g approx) per cup. I like full-bodied espresso, but not too ... So, for me 7g than sufficient and therefore jéconomise lot of coffee. A 250g 5.30 euros in the roaster, it cost me 15 euro ct espresso. Commissioning at Melitta is faster and consumes less water ... It's not the price of water, but for the tank filler frequency ... lol !! Personally, I find that the emptying of the drain water tank and coffee used is easier than on melitta Saeco because it is in front and very easy while on Saeco, it is by the side and the drawers can be removed more difficult .. The disadvantage of this model is that Melitta can not get out of hot water while on Saeco was with ... (on other models this is Melitta Also included ... but more expensive). Conclusion: avoid buying a Saeco, more dysfunctional and gourmet coffee and water and buying a real coffee brand: Melitta, more reliable, more economical, is to about the same Price !! Obviously, this is just my experience with these 2 machines and my personal opinion !! ;)
