Unripe driver - Insufficient support

The scanning resolution of 600 dpi is given only in connection with the use of the flatbed.
In document feeder (ADF) are only 300 dpi possible. Particularly annoying is when then the Duplex function to be used is.
Why the product description is kept ambiguous. Here is clearly "600DPI"!

Furthermore, the scans are just too big. An A4 page, SW, 300 dpi is inflated to approximately 1 MB size. A reduction is the driver software is not currently possible. Instead, the HP support is drawn to additional software with exactly this function.

The scanning feature of Acrobat XI under MAC OS 10.9 is not working.

The duplex printing works generally not under MAC OS 10.9.

Conclusion: The drivers do not seem to be mature. The printer is therefore relatively worthless to me.

HP a replacement unit was delivered. However, the error could therefore not be fixed.
Renewed mail for further steps were simply unanswered.
-> Virtually given no functioning support!
The replacement printer now goes back also. That it was time again for HP theme.
