After each drying cycle the lint beneath the door must be cleaned every 4 weeks of the capacitor.
Both should be considered as still quite a lot of "wool" on the filter passes and gets caught in the condenser.
The humidity sensor is required every 3 months a little care in the form of a cloth moistened with vinegar lobe in order to obtain the function reliably upright. (Is not the silver pin in Flusensiebkanal (a thermosensor), but the internal silver two fins at the bottom of the drum opening)
The temperature employed can not be regulated separately. Only in Synthetic and easy-care program is dried with reduced heat. We often use the time delay when the late time no longer permits (you can hear the dryer one floor up is still relatively clear, if not disturbing for my taste)
We had long wondered whether we should establish a heat pump dryer, but then we opted for a conventional, because in my eyes the WP technology is not yet mature and prone to error.
Calculated over 10 years I can not bring in the power saving back the extra cost. And if the heat exchanger continues to operate reliably? (A refrigerator finally loses refrigerant over the years and cools worse .. same principle)
Updated on 22.08.2013:
A small incident has occurred, I would like to share here:
out of the blue, the dryer did not start. The start button could not be pressed or it was not a pressure point of the microswitch more to feel the button had air.
As a hobbyist, the front panel was quickly dismantled (really easy) and found the cause quickly.
Between the board and the shield is a plexiglass shell is still installed.
And here's the kicker:
All switches are designed so that the control key while pressing acts directly on the microswitch.
Only the Start button, which is the most depressed, has a tongue as an intermediary of the plexiglass shell that was broken in my case.
With a bit of super glue and Scotch tape I could fix the plastic part again.
I wonder, however, why just the start button has been designed with an obvious weak point ?! Intent? (Subject obsolescence)
Especially since I have to say that the interior portion has me pleasantly surprised. The quality of the board makes a high-quality impression, the harnesses are routed accurately.
Since this design flaw does not fit somehow to.
Update 09/03/2014:
Did the assessment reduced to a star. Yesterday evening, the dryer has adopted for 3 years and 9 months with flash and bang. There was a short circuit in the electronics. Why is a mystery to me. Moisture or dust accumulations (was disassembled and cleaned only 5 months ago) may actually have been the cause. The dryer is dry in an unused bathroom.
