I have tested the helmets of competition around 200 (B & W, Bose, Monster, Sennheiser) and the Focal remains my favorite.
Pure audio side I prefer the Sennheiser HD25 - but the Focal is more "mobile" because foldable and with a handy remote with an iphone ...

I do not understand this criticism about the lack of bass: for me this headset is very well balanced - I could fault rather low surplus overwhelming other brands ...
Listed style of music I listen to a bit of everything: electro - pop - rock - funk - jazz - see classic (rarely). As against this helmet is demanding: to bad miking poor sound quality ...
