Except for the eSATA and audio ports (eSATA for me a suitable device is missing, Audio I have) I have as far as tested everything and found no major problems.
The USB 3.0 ports:
My USB 3.0 USB flash drive runs smoothly, my Icy Box even after I had the included cable replaced by a copy of 0.5m. My motherboard also provides enough power so that the hard drive always starts with no Y-adapter or an extra 5V supply.
For card reader:
It is a Sandisk Extreme SDHC (I) card with 16 GB easily recognized, thus seemingly support SDHC. Even with a compact flash card with no problems.
For the price, take slight compromising the stability of the front bezel and the metal housing in buying (the case is in my copy only with the 4 mounting screws "screwed"), and I'm pleasantly surprised by the good quality of workmanship. The red and green status LEDs also have a pleasant brightness.
To terminals:
- The two USB3.0 ports are just an extension / adapter cable that is connected to the 20-pin USB3.0 port on the motherboard.
- The eSATA port is internal to a "red" SATA cables.
- The card reader is on the usual 10-pin internal USB2.0 port, where only 4 pins are occupied (ie only one USB2.0 port).
- The Audioansschlüsse have at the cable end both the usual AC97 and the HD connection - with me but unused.
So who wants to buy a sound card reader with connections for USB 3.0 for little money is cared for properly. In case of problems just try a shorter external USB3.0 cable.
