DNA: The Deluxe Edition (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Little Mix won the first girl group in December 2011, the 8th season of the British X-Factor. The amazing thing is that the girls competed not as a group but as soloists. They were made only in the show to a girl group.

The first single Cannonball liked already exceptionally well, but when the English television, I saw the video for their single Wings in September, it had happened to me. A fantastic song with feel-good guarantee. Two months I had to wait until I (thanks Amazon UK) was allowed to hold the entire album in hands. A debut album with 16 (!) Tracks, where there is today? Here's my opinion on the individual titles:

1. Wings: A blast! Driving rhythm, tempo changes, great voices, great lyrics. 10/10

2. DNA: Another feel-good song. Shortly before the end suddenly sounding choral chants, the text is sweet for all those in love. 10/10

3. Change Your Life: Reminds me at the beginning to Never ever of All Saints. Pop song with Mitklatschgarantie, catchy chorus, beautifully melodic, Mutmacherlied. 7/10

4. Always Be Together: The first ballad. Nice, but not my favorite. 5/10

5. Stereo Soldier: The next danceable number, expected to start slightly American. 6/10

6. Pretend its ok: rather quiet, but immediately goes into your ear and makes at least me to the heart. 10/10

7. Turn Your Face: Very nice ballad, great voices, gets better with each listen. 10/10

8. We are who we are: Another Mutmacherlied in which it comes to be pleased with himself. 06/10

9. How ya doin ?: Begins with an answering machine saying, uses a sample of name and number of Curiosity Killed the Cat. Goes straight into your ear. 07/10

10. Red Planet feat. T-Boz: Kopfnickersong. Seems at times slightly oriental. The song gets better with each listen. 10/10

11. Going nowhere: flamenco touch. Songs of a dissatisfied woman with her boyfriend. Pop with Rapanteil. 07/10

12. Madhouse: varied, full of atmosphere, you really feel a bit like in a madhouse. 08/10

13. Love Drunk: Dashing song, a little rap, a little pop. I like every time we hear better. 08/10

14. Make You Believe: Somehow I can not do anything with the song. 04/10

15. Case closed: Message: Love as a criminal case: o) Catchy ballad. 07/10

16. DNA: Unplugged version. Convince the voices, but I like the faster version better. 09/10

In addition to the album is in the deluxe edition have a DVD with two videos to Wings, a video to We Are Young (originally sung by Fun, but very nice of Little Mix adapted) and an exclusive interview. A pity, I find that the first single Cannonball is not on the album.

Conclusion: Although not have received from me 8 or more stars all the songs, I'm excited about the versatility of the girls and the variety that offers their CD. Only one song does not tell me to really, while others are getting better. A CD that will not get bored!
