This is my first LED bulb. I bought them in order to gain experience with the new technology itself. When first using the key messages from the reviews of other customers showed: The brightness is well above what I have for "replaces 40 W" expected. With a power consumption of only 5 W and a rated life of 25,000 hours, the LED is very efficient and economical. The start-up time to reach full brightness is very short. However, the light color remains well short of what I know under "warm white". The bulb I use for a lamp in the kitchen, the (small cut vegetables ...) especially for a good illumination for cooking, baking, preparing dishes and is intended for dishwasher or unloaded. But the bright, but relatively cool light is well suited. If I want to eat later at rest, I'm doing it out and use rather warmer light sources.
Addendum: Also, the viewing angle is, as mentioned in other Renz ions, less than other bulbs. I have therefore decided and now but mainly because of the relatively cold light color for the LED to change back to the previous halogen bulb.
